C. Elaine Brubaker,
President of Brubaker Landscape Designs
Acting as Brubaker Landscape Designs’ Principal Designer and on-site Art Director,
C. Elaine Brubaker’s quest for artistic expression has led her through various creative fields over
the years that ultimately culminated into a solid passion for Landscape Architecture.
In 1988, she founded the Minneapolis-based company known today as Brubaker Landscape Designs.
A desire to inform and inspire audiences about landscapes has prompted featured television appearances for Brubaker on Public Television’s Right On the Money and the Travel Channel’s Passport To Design. Additional media coverage includes feature articles in various newspapers and magazines. Her dedication to top-quality landscape designs and implementation has led to design recognition and numerous design awards.
Brubaker’s formative years were spent on her family’s Pennsylvania dairy farm. This experience
taught her invaluable lessons in problem solving and a fascination and sensitivity for the land and how we treat it.

says Brubaker.
Brubaker’s interest in history and travel help her to better understand the land and its formative processes while further fueling her passion for creating places for people to live in harmony with other humans and the land. As the Company’s visionary, Brubaker continues to assist her team of professionals in creating remarkable outdoor spaces.
Brubaker’s formal education includes: Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, University of Minnesota
(College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture) and Bachelor of Arts in theatre and fine arts from Wilson College
in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
